What is a LIVP file and why can't I open it?
LIVP is Apple's proprietary Live Photo format — a ZIP file containing a HEIC image and MOV video. Only Apple devices can open it natively. Windows, Android, and most other systems need a converter.
How do I open a LIVP file on Windows 10/11?
You can't double-click it — Windows doesn't recognize the format. Upload it to LivePhotoKit, or manually rename .livp to .zip and extract with 7-Zip/WinRAR. Our tool is faster.
Why did someone send me a LIVP file?
